Dimensional Pocket 2.4 (2.4) - File Description  

This mod adds a cell for you to be able to access and store things, be it permantely or temporary. It has 5 chests within it. It can be accessed via a spell which will summon the door for you to use to get there. There will also be a door in that cell for you to use to leave and return to where you summoned the door.

I made this new stand alone mod to satifsy those who didn't like the previous dimension. There will be more in the future. Let us know what you would like. Keep in mind it takes a LONG time to make these. So progress may be slow at times.

1. Installation


Unzip to your Oblivion/Data folder.




From the Oblivion Launcher, select Data Files and check the box next to the
DimensionalPocket.esp file.

In game, type "startquest DIMEtherStart" in the console. (Without the quotes)(to get to the console hit`) You will get a new spell added called Dimensional Pocket of Ether. Use this door to enter the Dimensional Pocket of Ether.


3. Save Games


The plugin should not invalidate your old saved games.

NOTICE - This plugin is standalone and doesn't not affect the previous Dimensional Pocket mod. I hope to make them all this way to prevent the loss of any loot. If this happens to you PLEASE tell us at http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=294889


4. Features


This Plugin adds a Dimensional Pocket of Ether in which you can store items. Use the spell
given to you by the mod to summon a door. Going through the door takes you to
the Pocket, in which you can put items. Leave through the glowing gate to go
back to where you entered from.

This Dimension is a Small confined area suspended in a white void with 5 chests in it.

Note-Do not summon another Dimensional Portal while inside of a different one (Or Chuck Norris WILL find you and beat you to Oblivion :P)
Note2- You can only have one door summoned at a time

7. Known Bugs


Note-Do not summon another Dimensional Portal while inside of a different one. We REALLY mean it! Leave the Dimension by the EXIT door and go back to the outside world before summoning another door.


8. Known Conflicts


New DimensionalPocketOfEther will not cause conflicts with other Dimensions.

You have my full permission to use this mod in any way you like. Credit is not
necessary - but would be nice.

Ha, this reminds me of the Legend of Drizzt books. Thats an awesome mod man!

This was made for dungeon goers who wanted to loot lots of stuff, yet weren't able to carry it away. It serves mroe as a kind of storage unit to hold your stuff temporarly 'tll you can get it where you need it to go.

Wow this seems very good, cant wait till i finally get Oblivion Cry anyway, it looks very funny to summon a door, nice job aswell!

I love the idea of another demention that i can open a portal to at will to store my stuff, but im not too keen on the whole oblivion theme, fleshy pods are kinda nasty -_- anyway, if u plan on doing any in the future i would really like a place like "paradise" with trees and stone walkways and plants and stuff =) but good job on this one none the less, very cool idea xD

I put the file "DimensionalPocket.esp" in my Data folder. I checked the box under the "Data Files" option, and I typed in "startquest DIMEtherStart" in my console and this is the message I got.

Script 'SysWindowCompileAndRun', line 1
Item 'DIMEtherStart' not found for parameter Quest
Compiled script not saved!

I'm a bit new to altering an Elder Scrolls game, so can someone help me out here? I followed the direction in the ReadMe and it doesn't seem to want to work. Is there something I'm missing or is this a bug?

I agree with Jethas64. The flesh pods don't really suit the locale well at all. A "paradise" setting would work well.. If I might suggest something? You could have the portal lead you onto the top of a mountain that reaches far above the clouds. The only place to go would be up a path that would quickly lead the player to this house http://home.comcast.net/~hdoan0/Saurons_Abode_Gallery/SauronsAbode1.jpg

I dunno if the mod for that house is here on http://elderscrolls.filefront.com, as I found the image during a Google Search, but if it is you should think about asking permission to use it.

Awesome but you really should change the description because the
command is actually startquest DIMStart and that got mine working

Also I Lmao because this thing is very hazardous like at first I thought to myself
that I did'nt have to press the action button to use the exit so....I ranright through to
the other side which just so happens to be a bottomless pit!
