New features in this version

1.Added Dan Sch’s token stat menu to the dialogue. Removed the old Abilities menu.
2. Added Dan Sch’s new smoother inventory share scripting which does not provide the peek at underwear or nakedness. Uses MoveTo scripting, so the chest is not disabled, but moved each time it’s needed! This eliminates the accumulated invisible inventory chests left all over the place which causes saved game bloat and subsequent slowdown.
3. Added Dan Sch’s new follow scripting. No more jerky collisions when the Partner NPCs warp to you.
4. New scripting reduces Responsibility and Aggression to zero during Sneaking so the Player can steal and sneak attack without Partners giving him/her away, or giving him/her up to the guards in some cases.
5. Disabled Crime and Vampire dialogue for Partners Faction to stop crime reporting.
6. Set responsibility at 70 or higher on all NPCs. Limits how much trouble they can get into. No more massacres.
7. Added Partners Ring to recall the Party if they get scattered or lost.
8. Made all Partner NPCs Essential by default, since there's only a few in the default NPC esp. If you add many NPCs you may want to remove the Essential flag and let them die for more realism. Increased timer that times when dead bodies are disabled to allow looting if anyone who removes the essential state.
9. Added Nevermind option to all dialogue menus.
10. Removed all Partner Greetings to eliminate dialogue conflicts.
11. Several reported CTD when leveling up. This appears to be a game engine bug in the Rest/Wait screen which is responsible part of the time. Removed Partners levelup system and checked the PCLevel Offset, so that Partner NPCs will level along with the Player. No more CTDs.
12. There is a follow bug in the game engine that causes NPCs to stop following after going through a few doors. You can prevent this somewhat by giving the Partners new orders once in awhile, and then ordering them to follow again. If left to their own AI Packages, NPCs may decide to go exploring, hunting ingredients, etc. and get lost again. Or if they become locked in combat, they could run off after an enemy. The Partners Ring, which is added to the Player’s inventory at the start of the game, will be useful in recalling them if they disappear on you.
13. Tested all AI Packages and updated some to eliminate bugs. Tweaked Combat Styles along with adding a few new styles.

what this mod does is place a band of adventures around cyrodiil, who when approached, can be recruited to join your cause to save cyrodiil from corruption.[que the cheesy 80's rocky fight music]
the mod is made using blackie's amazing cm partners mod basic version 1.1, so i accept no credit for the scripting, i used her companions as a base for mine.i also use nec's mystic elf face for 2 of the companions, and roberts dunadan head and hair resource for my dunadan female.
abraxas - sorcerer dremora can be found at the flowing bowl, anvil
artex - barbarian orc can be found selecting a new axe at slash and smash, market district, ic
stryke - spellsword lilmothiit can be found at umbacano manor , talos plasa, ic
demara - thief eliu can be found at the 2 sisters lodge, skingrad
aurora - spellsword dunadan can be found at the tiber septim hotel,talos plasa, ic
blayde - archer lilmothiit can be found at the 2 sisters lodge , skingrad
xenos - battlemage dremora can be found at the mages guild , bruma
ashe - crusader mystic elf can be found at the 3 sisters inn, leyawiin,
serenity - healer mystic elf can be found at nord winds, bruma
lacara - nightblade ohmes raht can be found at the west weald inn, skingrad
The fellowship of the nine are the only people in cyrodiil who have the ability, nerve or desire to help you on your quest. they have been pre-ordained by god over a millenina ago[ok, me armed with the construction set really but for role plays sake...] to come to the aid of the world when evil rises, and do whatever it takes to return peace to the world once more...
in every generation a felloship is born [ok i got that part from buffy, scratch that]

notes:
the archive contains a file - nec mystic elf face.esm because the required mod nec mystic high elf doesent seem to contain this file in the zip -- if the version you download does, then this file wont matter.
please note i previously stated this mod runs with beautiful people, please accept my apoligies as i was wrong -- it requires cosmetic compilation instead, although you can use it with both mods active.
my dremora looks better using slof's awsome retexture found at:

Extract all my files to the desktop, then copy the .esp's to the oblivion/data folder,c:\program files\bethesda softworks\oblivions\data. if
you are asked to overwrite files, select 'yes to all'.

project_infinity Joined: August 30th, 2003 Posts: 12 | its a new version with a new name because its does exactly what it says in the file name its enhanced ,as im using brand new set of scripts, etc, if you want dont wanna keep downloading new versions, then simply dont, its that simple.. im woking hard to make new versions so people in the community can share in what i produce, i could just make a new version and keep it to myself but im generous.
there have been loads of versions recently because im a quick creator, i diddent think that was a bad thing.
anway for those of you who do wanna download this i guarentee you'll find this alot better then any of the previous ones, this is the biggest update so far. |
