Imperial Battle Staffs v.1.0 (1.0) - File Description  


Description:
It’s always bothered me how the imperial battlemages have swords instead of staffs. With this mod, they are given combat staffs. These are one handed weapons with the model of a staff and a flame enchantment. The player can pick these up, sell them, and fight with them just like any other weapon.

LEGAL STUFF: Please ask my permission to reproduce, sell, ‘plug in’ to any of your own mods, and put on CD etc.

CATEGORY: Weapons and realism

DESCRIPTION: It’s always bothered me how the imperial battlemages have swords instead of staffs. With this mod, they are given combat staffs. These are one handed weapons with the model of a staff and a flame enchantment. The player can pick these up, sell them, and fight with them just like any other weapon.

INSTALLATION: Download, extract into Oblivion/Data, tick off and you’re away.

ISSUES: I am aware that the holding point looks slightly irregular. This may be fixed in later issues.

WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS: Another version if need be, and perhaps other weapon mods if it takes my fancy…

So its just a 2-handed bashing weapon with a staff model? it would be cooler if they had "real" staffs instead of some stick..

non descript, short, and lacking in alot of important information. I published a standard mod readme form, but the Admin here wouldnt put it up for DL. But I like the imperial battlestaff. It fits my battlemage nicely.

If someone could make me a surcoat that come in a .esp file (cant get the .rar files to work) it would be great. A surcoat is like a robe that goes down to your elbows and then has a drape thing down between each leg (in front and back) and usually has either chain or scale mail underneath (its usually worn by battlemages or travelers and has some sort of blazon on it
