Kevin's Advanced Poisons Mod - File Description  


Description:
This mod adds over 50 custom poisons to the game. The poisons have very specific effects. For example Rat Poison will kill rats instantly, but will not affect any other creature. Iron Oxide will weaken iron weapons & armor, but will not affect any other type. There are poisons that affect specific creatures, races, equipment, combat styles, magic effects etc...

Some poisons have Unknown Effects. It's up to the player to figure out how to use these. Poisons are sold in shops & found in dungeons. They vary from totally useless to insanely powerful.

Poisons are not guaranteed to work on every occasion. Certain enemies are immune to poisons & the poisons will not work on many of the enemies in the Arena. Because of the sheer number of objects in Oblivion, it is impossible for me to forsee all bugs that this mod may cause.

The poisons sold in shops will not respawn. So use them carefully.

******THIS MOD IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH 0001.3******

Obscuro's Oblivion Overhaul 1.3 has changed the Reference ID of almost every single creature in the game. Therefore many of the creature specific poisons in the mod will not work.

It's not compatible with OOO 1.3? Darn. This looks really cool too. Is it possible that you will release another version that covers OOO 1.3? That would be REALLY great!

nice mod but i usually kill mudcrabs and rats in one hit - without a poison. stick out tongue

1 question (off topic): how come you can carry 635 lb without feather? thats 157 strength stick out tongue

Oooh, that's really neat. You could also make 'another' kind of a crab poison, if you catch my drift (if you didn't catch my drift I was referring to the sexually transferred disease).

Wouldn't Iron Oxide affect steel as well? Iron oxide is just rust, and steel rusts because it contains iron.
