Oblivion Timemod (1.1) - File Description

Description:
This mod tweaks the time in Oblivion around a bit. It comes in three plugins- 1 makes it truely real time, another makes 1 real minute equal 10 game minutes, and another makes 1 real minute 20 game minutes.

Oblivion Timemod (1.1) - Readme
Readme File:
Readme for TextureFreak's timemod v1.1.

What this mod does is plain simple. It changes the timescale from 30 to 10 so that the days should last quite a bit longer.

I decided to include a total of 3 .esp's to give people more choices. Here goes.

TF_timemod1-1.esp = 1 realtime minute euals 1 ingame minute.
TF_timemod1-10.esp = 1 realtime minute equals 10 ingame minutes.
TF_timemod1-20.esp = 1 realtime minute equals 20 ingame minutes.
-----------------------------
*Install*

Unzip this mod into the Oblivion/Data folder.

Run the Oblivion Launcher and click on Data Files.

Check the marker next to the file you want to be active (make sure you select only one) and voila, installed.

Microsoft created Windows 2000 and XP stick out tongue

We've all submitted.

But that time mod thing, does that mean that some NPCs will spend like 4 hours of the day eating dinner? Cause I remember stalking some merchants and spent 4 game hours eating dinner. I also wonder if they will try to keep doing a task if they accomplish it and they are still in the same hour that that action is assigned to them.

Obviously I am the only one having this issue since no one has mentioned it but there is no change of time for me. This is the first mod that I have installed for this game that has not worked with the game. Has anyone got any suggestions for me?

confused

Hmm, does this only work in new games? The 1=1 plug-in didn't work on mine...

Hm....well, I have thought about changing the time around, myself, but there is one obvious drawback: gameplay speed. Depending on how long you spend on the game each RL day, just one day in Oblivion might span three to seven RL days. Now, a truly perfect time mod would be one that actually tracked RL time, so that when you enter the game, it is approximately the same time in Oblivion as it is in RL.

(RL, for those of you who don't know, is an acronym for "Real Life."wink

There's a simple way to see your current timescale.

Standard Oblivion time is 30 minutes for one real life minute.

You can check this by :

1: Press ~ for console
2: Type in "show timescale" -> You will see your current timescale
3: To change this, typ in "Set timescale to x"
