Phoenix Equipment - File Description  

This mod introduces a completely new equipment set to you, the Phoenix. It includes the armor set, shield, all weapons, and a quiver.

The armor has a complete fire-harnessing retexture of the Glass-armor, and a brand new Flaming shader-effect.

The weapons have an effect you haven't seen in a mod before. These babies are BURNING!

The weapons can be bought in the Imperial City (Slash'n'Smash) and armor aswell (The Best Defense).

hm, got some problems with the flame effect on the weapon
the effect shows, but it's surrounded by pink squares :s
effect works fine on the armor though

Very original and very well made!
The result is just very good done, this is simply the best armor mod till now, very nice job! 10/10 (It's just sad that we can't vote higher, or else I would even then vote the maximum!).

Very cool video aswell, and were did you got that healthbar from?! I love it, do you know where I can get it?

no you didnt kill him you left him unconscius because you cant kill inportant people like bartes,etc.In a few minutes he will wake up and maybe he will call the guards but that is other problem. Thats all i can tell but maybe im WRONG.... confused

If you need to bring someone back from the dead, you might actually be able to do it (although I've not tried it on NPC's from the main Oblivion files).

Open the editor, load the Oblivion.esm file (set it as the active file before loading, and load no other mods).
Then you want to filter the objects for NPC's and scroll down the list (pay attention to the name column) to the person you need to "revive".
Right-click them and choose 'Edit'.
In the new window you want to find the option for 'Essential', put a tick in this box.
Then close that window.

Save the changes (it will ask you to save the new mod file), then close the editor.
Enable this file in the 'Data' options and then load your game. If you load into the area where the "soon not to be dead" NPC is located, go away from there and muck about for a short while (allow about 5 game minutes or more to go by), then go back and the person should be up and about.

This worked on the za_sparring mod, where I accidentally killed Lucio (the sparring guy). I got into an 'out-of-training' fight by mistake and forgot the "yield" command, so I had to kill him before getting my **** kicked. After a brief exit, edit, save and reload, he was back training me the next in-game day.

It might also not work if you killed the person a long time (in-game) ago. I 'revived' the NPC just after I killed him (because loading my previous save would have meant starting almost at the tutorial ending).
And, like I said, this was done on a character in a mod, not one from the main game files, so I've no idea how the game will react.

PS I've also turned on the autosave features now, since I'm so forgetful about saving... thank the Nine for 'Auto-save on Travel', etc...

Open the console, click on the body and type "resurrect" (without the quotes)

You can also make a copy of NPCs by clicking on them in the console and typing "CreateFullActorCopy" (without the quotes)

Sorry about my double post earlier. for the last while I've been trying to figure out how to mod the weapons and armor to give it resistances to fire and to inflict a bit of fire damage but it doesn't seem to compile when I try to change it. Is there an online doc that shows how or would someone be kind enough to let me know how to do it?

How do you get rid of the funny looking purple squares it makes me look like i have an exsaust. And with a high agility the squares surround me ive stuck it in a volt for now...

Those squares mean that there's something wrong with the graphic or that it's missing from the textures folder. I've had it myself, have it with this mod as well for the battle axe. Everything else seems fine.

Great mod 9/10 it would be 10/10 but i was unhappy to see the bow doesnt have a flame affect. And for all those people complaining about it not making light or doing flame damage just enchant it so that it does. i hope to see more mods from this person!

The fire actually had some sort of effect attached to it and was an actual source of light. But it does neither, just looks good which in a single player game, seems kind of pointless since you can't exactly show it off. If you ever update this, hopefully these items will include this.

Oh and I also had the purple boxes show up, but only on the Claymore.

Hmm, there's a slight problem with this mod. I got the pink squares to dissapear, but the War Hammer now has no flames, and the Battle Axe cannot hit any NPC/enemies at all (it goes right through them).
Awesome mod though.

alright dl worked fine. Great Mod btw, except when in game, the armor does not appear, it just makes my char invisible when it is equiped, except for the bald head.....

@Chaos_Space_Marine: Go kick @$$ in the Wastes of Oblivion until you get a Sigil Stone(Latent, Ascendant, it doesn't matter) that either adds Fire Res./Shield to Armor or Fire Dmg. to Weapons, then open the console and:
1) make a copy of yourself (type player.createfullactorcopy)
2) open console, select your copy, type "kill"
3) loot the corpse of your copy. You should have 2 identical Sigil Stones(If you feel like having 2 or more sets of Phoenix Armor or some s00pa-d00pa unique stuff, you know what to dostick out tongueimp:loot those as well, but that wouldn't be nice, would it? the "Unique" items are supposed to be unique"big grin)
4)open console, select your (dead and looted) copy, and type "deletefullactorcopy
Last step:
5)repeat steps 1-4 until {NumberOfSigilStones} is {NumberOfPhoenixArmorAndWeapons} plus 1(So you can keep one extra Sigil Stone and walk around the Imperial City screaming "Look i'm 1337 i kick @$$ in Oblivion"big grin)
I know thats the long way to do it, but i'm not writing down tons of hex codes to use the "additem" command; it's easier this way

Use the tcl cheat and go under the shop map. You will find 2+ locked chests that needs a key. Use the Unlock cheat on the chests and you can get all the items that the shop keeper was selling. (If not, most)

I know this mayy sound noobish but where can I go to make/edit meshes that have flaming effects like these weapons, if there IS a free tool plzzzz tell me. I'm working on sumthing cool but i have no idea how to do this and it is vry crucial if you would plz help thanks!!!
