This modifies all Imperial Legion Soldiers outside of the Imperial City, giving them unique armour and horses depending on the region they patrol.


Details
=======
Regional Legion Soldiers modifies all Imperial Legion Soldiers outside of the imperial city. Firstly, all of the soldiers are split up depending on which territory they patrol - Colovian (West), Nibenean (East), Heartlands (North) and West Weald (South). The main differences between the categories is that each regional soldier gets his own armour based on the region he is in; for example, a soldier in Colovia would have a white surcoat with a lion emblem, whereas a Nibenean Soldier would have a blue surcoat with a dragon emblem. The second main difference is that each of the Imperial Legion riders gets their own custom horse depending on which region they are in, e.g. a colovian soldier may have a white horse, as that is native to Anvil, whereas a Nibenean soldier may have a black horse as they are native to Cheydinhal.

I created this mod purely for aesthetic purposes, as I was getting bored with seeing the same Imperial Legion Soldier clones all over Cyrodiil.

The new armour, shields and icons are all custom textures created by me, so if you would like to use any of them in your own mod please ask my permission first.

Install
=======
1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Examine the folder structure and make corrections where necessary.
3. Copy files to (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\
4. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the .esp file.

Uninstall
=========
1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file(s).
2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod.

Oblivion\Data\Textures\Armor\RegionalSoldiers\
Oblivion\Data\Textures\Menus\Icons\Armor\RegionalSoldiers\


Incompatibility
===============
This mod may be incompatible with mods which edit or change Imperial Legion Soldiers outside of the imperial city.


Known Issues or Bugs
====================
There are currently no known bugs, if any are found please inform me by PMing "Ionis the Bear" at the official forums and I shall try and fix them and bring out a newer version.

This mod is included in MMM (marts monster mod) so if you want this and MMM I would recommend MMM oh and btw 10/10Two Thumbs Up!

particularly the sheilds symbols very realistic to the theme well done i might have to find a way to gank some of their equipment 10/10

the guards wont go out of the region that they have the armor to anyway
