Separates [Pauldrons] (1.1v) - File Description  


Description:
What This Does
------------------------------------

This mod removes the Pauldrons (shoulder armor) from the Cuirasses and adds them to the game as separate pieces of armor. Pauldrons can be found on NPCs, for sale by merchants and in certain (usually quest related) locations. The Pauldrons will now take the Ring slots, so you will not be able to have Pauldrons and Rings equipped at the same time. I recommend 'Unlimited Amulets & Rings' by timmypod to get around this limitation.

All gauntlets set to 'Hide Rings' have been altered to allow Pauldrons to show. I also edited the arena quest for integration reasons. See Uninstallation section for details of Cuirasses altered by this mod (most).



Future Plans
------------------------------------

- Fix the rigging on the Steel and Blackwood Cuirass.
- Maybe make a Bound Pauldrons Spell.
- Implement method for maniquin/companion support.

- Fixed player getting freebee Pauldrons to match the cuirass.
- Removed unused Female Dwarven Cuirass mesh (meshesArmordwarvenfcuirass.nif).

Copy or extract all the files contained in the archive into your Oblivion/data/ directory.

Thank you for making this, I too was a bit mopey when I discovered no seperates in armour, however, I like melee weapons too,

so where is the link for the 'unlimited A+R' by timmypod?

Is it possible to add new slots into the game so that you can assign new things like this to the new slots? Like create a shoulder slot for the pauldrons or a neck slot for capes?

Yea, I found it and now I can equip rings AND pauldrons

Umm, some are really good, but leather ones need work, they are a little too small and blend into the bigger armours,

Also, have you considered doing this for gauntlets too?

@6 I've tried, but it won't let you, nor will it let you create new skill classes, the new Construction set seems less veratile this time around frown

I like the Idea, but hate the fact it takes up a ring slot or that I have to use another Mod (Unlimted Rings)... why don't you dive deeper and figure out how to create new slots for the shoulders such as Daracaex suggested...

Dude... I used your mod... and it had texture issues with several people in the game including gaurds and anyone in hvy armor (It showed a yellow squares with exclimation marks) and when I turned it off and reloaded my game (Unsaved of coarse) all the damn pauldrons in the game were missing... any armor I put on... thanks alot you screwed up my game with your *****ty mod.... I wish there was a middle finger icon. Two Thumbs Down!Two Thumbs Down!Two Thumbs Down!

number 10 all you have to do is uninstall it or just uninstall every trace of your meshes and textures then install only the mods you truly need


and besides it works fine for me!!!

i have a problem if i turn the mod of all my pauldrons are gone by every armor!!
