Ta Areialdye's Rare Trade Goods (2.0) - File Description  

There are two parts contained in this download: a shop containing new items &
non-esp dependent replacer items. You may customize your game according to the
.esp and replacer objects. Please read carefully.

1. RTG Shop. The .esp includes a new shop, found near the Wawnet Inn, outside
of the Imperial City, selling new male and female armor, clothing, weapons and
enchanted items. I have also tweaked the White Mages Robe to include a female
body and ground mesh, and it will no longer hide an amulet when both are worn
at the same time.

Version 2.0 features:

* additional decorations and rearrangements in shop interior/exterior
* new male NPC, Ta's husband & shop guardian
* new clothing & armor for males and females
* reduced clipping with Elven Leather Cuirass and Greaves (m & f)
* made Green Silk Skirt wearable with Elven Leather Cuirass, some minimized
clipping occurs

2. Replacer items.
Objects in the following folders do not require the included .esp:

* Two female upperclass skirts are replaced with new nifs and textures; the
skirts appear basically the same, but use a longer skirt mesh.
* The male and female count(ess) outfits now have new darker blue textures,
as the original coloring was too bright for my taste.
* The female highwayman's shirt is replaced with a sleeker, more feminine
mesh and texture.

What you will find in Ta's shop:
enchanted and unenchanted staves and quarterstaffs
enchanted and unenchanted clothes, one female only item
unenchanted armors

The same as before, some duplicates of clothes and a set of armor can be
found somewhere in Cyrodil.

This is a content mod, not a mechanics mod, I presume that it is OOO compatible, and content rarely cancels each other out.

You have to use 7zip to unzip it, to my knowledge, though maybe winzip works too -- I don't know, since I don't use winzip. But 7zip unzips anything, and is available for free online. Google it sometime; it's quite a nice program. Unrars, too. ^^;''

Uhm... I downloaded this like I do every other file that /works/, I also downloaded the update. And I made sure that the .esp file was in the first Data folder when it first didn't work. I've tried most everything I can think of and still, the outfits, whatever part that the texture and mesh are supposed to cover, is invisible. Completely invisible. Even on the shoplady. In the shop, near Weye, just like you said. I love how the outfits look in the screenshots, but in my game... They're invisible. As are my character's legs/torso/entire body, depending on where the clothes were supposed to cover...

It seems that, even if I install just this and not the update, it STILL glitches and my character goes near-invisible when I put that stuff on. And it's not like invisibility spells... I can still be seen by NPCs due to their magic NPC eyes, but I myself can't see my character. ;.;''
Your stuff is completely glitched.

I've figured it out.
You can't send this file straight to the Data Folders thing -- it's made so the first folder is named Data, and it is actually meant to be sent straight into the Oblivion foldler. THEN it works.

well due to the lovely 7z, every time i enter the building i get through half a load and then my whole game crashes w00t. I got an error the first time i tried to extract to i overwrote everything and it still dosen't function right, all i get is crashes every time i enter the building.

Not only does it look like the author is not available, but the file itself is corrupted and cannot be uploaded. Too bad as this looks like a sweet mod.

I'm almost thinking why bother putting an email address in and I'm not talking about just this author, I found bugs with many of the dls in general. so anyone making new mods just don't put it in if we can't get ahold of you whats really the point of having it in the read me. I know most of the posts are old but come on I had the same email address for a good 15 years

i almost got it to work once i saw the shop's sign that when i tried the first time turnded out to be a yellow "!" but when i went in the first time the whole room was filled with more "!" and i left and went back a second time and the game crashed on me when ever i went back in
