Villages - File Description

Oblivion, as you probably know, has cities and smaller outlying villages. Some have felt that some areas of Cyrodiil were far too empty, as did the creators of this mod. This mod adds three, very well done and in depth villages to the land of Cyrodiil. These are-

Beram- Small village east of Cheydinhal

Storlien- A village on the coast of the Niben Bay, on the mouth of the Corbolo river. (The Niben bay is the body of water next to Bravil. This village will be NE of Bravil across the bay.

Fort Turjak- An Imperial Legion outpost with its own village (The game really should've had some outposts, I don't know why they didn't put them in there), south of Chorrol and west of Hackdirt.

This mod is very well done, and was clearly well thought out (the exteriors and interiors are excellent). Even if you won't visit these villages, they still make a good aesthetic touch.

-Description: This mod will add 3 new villages to your game.

Beram is a small farm village east of Cheydinhal, just
south of Rickety mine. It has a view on Cheydinhal and the Rood
river(?). This village is famous for their cheese.
Storlien is a small fishing port village on the Niben bay,
on the mouth of Corbolo river.
Fort Turjak is an Imperial Legion outpost and a village
in Colovian highlands, south of Chorrol, west of Hackdirt.
It has a tavern where travellers can get bed, food and drink,
few houses, and Legion fort with prison, barracks and headquarters.

In every village you can find something to do.

Names for the villages are chosen randomly, from
the index of atlas of the world.

This mod shouldn't have any conflicts, if you have some contact me.
Also, if you find errors or something I had missed, too.

-CS info:
Here is some info for the modders, to avoid conflicts:

(cell ID) / (name of the village) / (cell coordinates)

AAselo01 / Beram / (33,21)

AAselo02 / Storlien / (23,-2), (23,-1), (22,-1)

AAselo03 / Fort Turjak / (-23,15)

The interior cells are:
- 01, 02, 03 prefixes for Beram
- 11 prefix is for Storlien
- 12 prefix is for Fort Turjak

ID's with prefix AA are from this mod.

I don't mind if you use this mod with yours, just give us

I was just thinking since all the villages in the game are basically just well "normal" I thought it would be cool if there were some villages (here it comes) overrun by zombies that would just be friggin awsome. Anyway just a thought, great mod!.Rock

Please do this when you download the mod:

-Go to your OblivionDataSoundVoice folder and rename folder Selo01.esp to Villages.esp

This will correct the error with too fast subtitles. That's something I forgot to do.

Brilliant guys, brilliant, please add some more, a daedra attacking a village quest would be good, I don't feel oblivion really creates tension in the main quest between the foces of hell takung over when they don't do anything...Good job all the same!

Im new to this, and have downloaded a bunch of mods but all the ".rar" ones dont show up on the "Data" list when i start up Oblivion. Im sure this is a new person problem so just a quick "Do this" is all i need.

Thank you.

".rar" is just a archive, like ".zip" or "7z", etc. Get "Winrar" or "ExtractNow" or something else, and thats it.

There is already a mod for that, somewhere in tessourse.com. Just go there and do a search for "zombie village" (or something).

And yes I know I violated a rule by directing a person to a different site, smite me.Roll Eyes (sarcastic)

wouldnt it be cool if random events happend to the villages, like random vampire or deadrea attacks, so that even if your relaxing in a villages, you could have a eventure wake up call?
just thinking about it....
otherwise great mod!!

Deafthought not a bad idea.. some skillful modder must compact his efforts towards creating a Cyrodiil-wide random raiding horde, or perhaps even a Dremora legion that marches through Cyrodiil and every 5 or 10 days or so decide to attack a town. It could be further elaborated if there were a quest to enter their 10-LEVEL DUNGEON and attempt to quell the hive-like factory of Dremora and Daedric beasts within. eek! I wish I knew anything about making mods cuz I don't seem to haev any problems in the idea department. Someone wanna throw me some motivation or am I just a n00b and it's not hard at all..??
