Water and a Race? (1.0) - File Description  


Description:
This MOD adds a small hamlet south of Leyawiin inhabited by a new non-playable Race which looks kinda like an
Argonian, but has some slightly different aspects, see for yourself to find out.

This hamlet itself is also a little bit different from others, you see, it floats on water. This MOD also adds some
horses that can walk on water. These horses might be the perfect maunt on the large distances where water meets
you. Please do not try to go underneath the houses as you might get stuck, I tried to make sure that that won't
happen, but you can never be too sure. Also bring a torch, the houses of the poor man is quite dark.

It has been a while since I last posted a MOD, but rest assured, I've been working on something bigger than last
times. The orriginal idea was just to add some horses that can walk on water, but some fellow did the same thing
so I dessided to do something extra along with it.



Description:

This MOD adds a small hamlet south of Leyawiin inhabited by a new non-playable Race which looks kinda like an
Argonian, but has some slightly different aspects, see for yourself to find out.

This hamlet itself is also a little bit different from others, you see, it floats on water. This MOD also adds some
horses that can walk on water. These horses might be the perfect maunt on the large distances where water meets
you. Please do not try to go underneath the houses as you might get stuck, I tried to make sure that that won't

Containments:

- There is a new race called 'Ermiasial' added with this MOD the descriptoin of that race is:

'This Race is extraordinary magical and has adapted themselves to living on water.

The Ermiasial used to be Argonians, but when a small band of Argonians were forced to live
in the sea forever they started to adept themselves to these harsh conditions. They taught
themselves how to build and grow crops on water and they taught themselves how to use magics.
One day they learned a spell that made them capable of walking on water, and because of
over-using that spell they were bound to it, they could now walk on water for always.'

- Water Horses, which are horses that can walk on water.

- A village on water with NPCs



Installation:

Put the file 'Water Horses.exp' into the Oblivion/Data folder and check the box at the autostart screen's
Data Files. Start Oblivion, go south of Leyawiin (west of the water is the Map Marker, which is not yet visible),
Look over to the water at the Map Marker and you'll see the hamlet, floating about.



Bugs:

None that I am aware of at the moment, should you find some, please report to me by posting it on this page.

Most credit goes to Bethesda Softworks, for making such a great game of course. The rest of this MOD goes to me.

AH too bad the title was atractive but the mod itself isn't. SOrry I expected something else I guess...

No offence but all of your mods aren't very good, and you really should learn how to take screenshots properly (stop using a damn camera).

Stereotyped about the mod, eh?

Let me explain myself.

First of all, I use Vista so I can't find my screenshots after I took them.

Second of all, I'm still a beginner with making mods. That means I gladly recieve
any comments you might have AFTER playing the mod. If you'd give
me comments I can take that kind of stuff into account in my next
mod. If you don't, I can't improve my mods as well as if you would.

Next time when someone adds a mod, don't be stereotyped, and make sure you have played the mod you are giving comment to.

lol, its a good idea, i think it might be good if the horses moved a tiny bit faster, and you increased the lighting with a couple candles. other than that it sounds good. wont dl though cause my computer has barely any space left

You should expand upon this idea and make Laketown from The Hobbit. There is already a Dwarves mod so you could get permission to use that and then make a quest from that town to help the Dwarves reclaim Lonely Mountain from Smaug....that would be very epic....though it would take lots of work.

with vista to take pictures do it the normal way then open up mad manager and when something besides the mod manager itself shows up press ok. After that you should find the pics in your oblivion directory

Vista won't let you take screenshots because it won't let you write to Program Files.

To teach it otherwise, do the following:
Open start menu
Type CMD into search box
Right click the program, run as Administrator
Type in net user administrator active:yes
Log out
New user acc. called Administrator should have appeared. It'll let you do anything - just move your saves over from the first account and you should be able to screenshot normally.
To disable the admin account, do as before, except type net user administrator active:no

Vista comes with an Admin account; NO account you make yourself is EVER one. The one that comes with Vista CAN do stuff. It's to stop novice users killing their systems, basically.

If you cant save with Vista get FRAPS or an equivalent program to take your shots.

You should probably call this mod the hamlet of floating horses. Because I like horses that can trot against the water. I never travel with my horse in the water. They're too dam slow. I can swim faster than they can
