Yorick (1.0) - File Description  


Description:
Inside of the Moss Rock Cavern, known for horrible Necromantic experiments, there is a new resident. Revived by the Necromancers of Moss Rock, a man of misfortune and infinite jest, and of most excellent fancy, now walks the hallowed hall behind the locked door, right alongside the leaders of the coven.

Enough of the fancy description. What it really does is add a simple, weak Skeleton named Poor Yorick. He carries a weak Ebony Shortsword, known throughout the land as Yorick's Sword of Existence. Once killed, a hero may take the skull of Yorick as their own, so that they may learn the truth of life and death. Or just to look good somewhere. You can also take his old
clothes, if you want.

*LEGAL*: Ask permission for redistribution on CD, DVD etc, reselling, modification or "plugging in" to another mod

*INSTALLATION*: Just copy the file into Oblivion/Data

*CONFLICTS*: This shouldn't conflict with anything. It uses entirely Vanilla items, nothing new. The only conflict I can see is if someone else made something that fundamentally changes Moss Rock Caverns...

Sounds like a piece of !&*$£ to me, but thats my opinion, im not going to bother DL, the description sounds good and like it will be an interesting fun quest, but read on and its not. Sorry, not going to DL.

dont be an ***. You people dont get what sort of work goes into a mod. If you poke fun at a modder's work, or say its ****, then you should go into a corner and die. And make sure it is dark enough and secluded enough that we wont have to see or hear you, because we dont care.

Sounds like a laugh unless, like the first poster, you don't get the reference.
It's just funny that you can kill a guy called Yorick and take his skeleton... it's just a pity that when you're a Bard you can't really DO the acting, etc to become popular - now THAT would be an awesome improvement to the realism factor...

Incidentally, Yorick is the skeleton of a dead court jester, and starred in Shakespeare's Hamlet with Mel Gibson.

It was from Shakespeare's Hamlet, in the scene where Hamlet and Horatio come upon the grave diggers.
