The blade is the Requiem sword which originally came with dragons on its hilt. I asked a friend to snip off the dragons because I preferred the sword without them. I believe in the meantime, a non-dragon version has also been made available as a mod. I will try to find the link for both versions, and post it later. I assume it is OK to post links to mods on this thread? I am new to this site.

@ Jager_57 and Big_cheese - Unfortunately this thread only allowed me to send them the dialup version of this screenie - which is 120K. The fullsize version is 1.2MB and shows the details more clearly - the dead one is actually a girl and her eyes look a little more "bugged" out.

Regarding the Requiem sword - see post #11 too - I did look for the links and wrote some friends, but the links don't seem to exist any longer. If someone knows where this mod went to, that would be good to know. Thanks!

That is a pretty close call The dead guys face reminds me of the time i raised my marksmen to 900 (cheated) and threw a ninja star and the guard walked right in front of it.
I can't belive it is a 8.3 this is so far the best potd I have ever seen and the caption is good to I hope everyone rates a 10/10 like I will to raise the rating

Well, after much digging, CIA contacts, dropoff points, being caught in an atempt to bring down the embassy, and my least favorite, getting trapped on a remote island, i have tracked this sword back to the French. Darn those Frenchies and their fancy wines! Not sure if the link on this site works though, for i havent tried dling it yet. I have yet to find my true prize, the version without the dragons on the hilt, as seen in the above pic. If the dl link doesnt work, then search around yourself, Im sure the creator of the mod's name is somewhere on this page. Good hunting!

oh.... just a word of advice, that mod is french, so if you use it, it might conflict with your game if you dont have the french version. To avoid this, i would simply only use the textures and meshes files to create your own sword with the CS
okay on page 6 of that forum, there are 3 links under a poster named Dimitri Mazieres. Those links should work... for now

Good job retrieving that, DELTA! I gave up after discovering the dead links on the French site and asking some friends.
I have been using that sword for a while and would not have posted this pic if I thought the mod links were dead. I very much appreciate this, DELTA... the lynch mob in front of my place has now started to disperse.
Regarding the titles of this screenie: I wasn't sure how the titles would look when I filled out the form for the pic (since this was my first), and would not have included the subtitles. Well, next time...

hmm the onlything wrong with it, is that her hand is in the wrong spot. it should be on the top of the hilt. not on the bottom of it. 10/10 otherwise

I am glad another POTD finally came up too, Azrune... Not sure why it is called "Picture of the Day" if it takes several days for a new one, but "Picture of Every Two or Three Days or So" just doesn't sound right.
@ BadHairDay (#34) - I thought the same thing at first, but upon reconsidering it, I disagree with you. It seems like the way she is holding the blade is how it would happen.
