Great pic, but your blade is facing the wrong way...
(Double sided blades don't curve in, if they do then it's bad craftmanship.)

well, it wouldn't be to easy to make a double edged blade, but nice pic, 910, and what armor is that?

I know it's not double-edged... I was just trying to come up with a... viable solution... lol.

Oh well. I think I have it a 10/10. Don't remember though.

Very nice! RogueSun, this truly is a work of art! Plus who cares if the blade is facing the wrong way, if his throat is slit, his throat is slit. The Night Mother will get to him anyway.

"ah all hes going to get is a scratch.. sharp side is out not in"

Not true, you could of easily (because shes wearing what looks to be leather) grabbed the other end of the blade and pulled it onto his neck, he'd die of either suffercation or a cut throat.

Especially the way the assassin is looking at the screen, he looks like a kickass evil ***** big grin No, but seriously, the way he looks at the screen is undescribably cool...
Anyway, I wanna know if u got him to look at the screen, or if it is just a Co-inicidence.
But the pic is awesome, 10/10

#16 actually Slvrbuu is right, the assassin is a woman. You can see her in a few of the PotD's here.

Awwwww, shes giving the guard a hug!
This picture is fantastic- the expression on the guard's face is great and the timing is superb. By the way, RogueSun, what armor is that? It looks superb.

Oh, wait, Rogesun, I think I know how u did this...
You took a screenshot of the guard only.
U just cut out the character and pasted him there, thats probably also why the blade is facing the wrong way. I thought of this because, it would be impossible to position him like that, with him looking at the screen and the guard in that position..
And I kinda could see that the head was cut (im mistaken in thats just the light on his head) but here is a pic of it brightened ( do not look if you are photosensitive, in other words its really bright): http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2v10oba&s=2
He just pasted the assassin there...
Am I right? Forgive me if im wrong
big grin

Great shot as always RogueSun! Your use of lighting is always excellent.

I think what RogueSun did here was to use one of the Actors-In-Charge animations by trollf that allow you to "look at your weapon" (it's called something like that) - so that is why the blade faces outward. RogueSun then used TCL to move his character up to the NPC (after TAI'ing the NPC).

Unfortunately Hobo, you are incorrect. Greatfool1 has the idea. I used trolfs actors in madness and had the guard use the accidents>writhing in pain 1. That makes his neck more exposed. Then I used the tcl command and moved my character close enough and high enough to get the proper placement. From there I simply used the actors in charge guard>look at weapon command. Do TAI on both the characters and suddenly I have a screenshot. No photoshopping involved smile

As for the armor its from "Shdw Armor Pack 01" I would give you a link, but it seems that the author has asked that it be blocked from tesnexus right now.

/sigh guys i REALLY want an Oblivion 5, but i cant even get my current version to work.
Basically I played the game, LOVED it, but had to uninstall it to liberate some space. I couldnt uninstall it from the control panel so i decided to delete its core files.
Now whenever i try to install it...it proceeds but then sais "would you like to fully uninstall oblivion?" like wtf i already deleted the files. Now i go into control panel and see that theres another 25mb or Oblivion still left which is stopping me from installing it...what do i do???! Plz help me! i wanna play oblivion again SO BADLY

@ Rogue Sun - very clever with the "writhing in pain" animation! Thanks for the explanation.

@ Bladez616 - Well, I am no expert so someone else may say more about this... but all your Oblivion files reside in two places by default:

Cstick out tonguerogram FilesBethesda SoftworksOblivion

Cbig grinocuments and Settings<Your User Login Name>My DocumentsMy GamesOblivion

If you delete BOTH of these Oblivion folders, you should be able to re-install from scratch. Of course, any savegames will also be deleted, as well as all installed mods by doing this.

Jeez... Once posted, it also left out the backslashes in the paths... Not sure how to post the paths with backslashes...

Anyway, there should be slashes between those folder names too. Well, you probably get what I mean.

But you said you see 25MB worth of Oblivion files - so they must still exist on the hard drive if your control panel is saying that. Make sure BOTH Oblivion folders are nuked under Bethesda Softworks AND under Documents and Settings. Maybe there is some .ini setting that needs nuking too. Dunno.

Anyway, we probably shouldn't be doing all this right here on the PoTD by RogueSun.

I hope you get it going.
